Hat Yai

Hat Yai,Thailand..an interesting place which have been visited within 16th-19th dec 2010...this trip was formed by 30pple a bus which 2/3 are my family and relative members...keke...

We depart around 10pm moving toward north...reach at border kastam around 3sumtin..around 4am dey stop us at The Zone to let us get some products..didn got netin from there coz still no mood to shop in middle of the nitexD..wait in bus till around 6am the kastam open ne v get to cross the border..eager for breakfast and v settled it at dim sum restaurant...delighted when the tour guide say just take and eat anytin u want..so stomach get satisfied and we headed to a guan yin temple on a hill...photo shooting session and praying were on...then v headed to a bird nest restaurant where some pampered demself with some special coconut bird nest but most just drank the free ginseng tea and leave..keke..

After that,we are brought to a kinda small mall wer can shop for souvenir, thai shirt and stuff ( only regrets were didn get any souvenir der coz tot there are plenty of chances after that which is a wrong expectation..T.T)..next,local product shops...quite attractive and most got few bags in return...Honey shops where we got a small seminar about honey which most of us fishing while listening...pity the boss..ha..

Lunch time...had our buffet lunch at one of the highest restaurant in Hat Yai located at Lee Garden Hotel..the lunch is not as grand as normal hotel buffet in Malaysia but heard the price to have a meal there are quite cheap..below rm20 mayb..Then, the waited long moment finally arrived..BP Grand Hotel!!..finaly can get to bath and rest..fuh..get to sleep at least 1 hour and felt refresh after a whole night insomnia bus journey..he...

Floating Market...an interesting place..the food are considered cheap and duno why i felt so excited when buying food there..haha..although given 1 hour but still eager for anth hour to be satisfied enjoying the food and atmosphere there...but too bad need to rush for anth venue..ha..next, a lantern garden..free entrance fee which hard to find in malaysia for such a nice lighting garden...given half an hour which cant even manage to finish half round of d garden and hav to U turn back..ha..

Ah Gua show...this one hour show cost rm50 which is expensive but since already reach thai so i tink should not miss this Ah gua tingy which is one of their symbol there..as expected most of the Ah Gua are pretty since they can adjust whatever they want and need..keke...the show not really amaze us but overall ok la..while we watch ah gua show, parents also enjoying thai massage at hotel..from their feedback okok la..haha

After the Ah gua show, though exhausted but still must out to the street to experience their night time lifestyle and activities...it is very very happening and humans are everywhere ( but most are malaysian i think)..ha..ate some supper at the hawker stall beside the road and back to recharge battery..

Earliest morning call>>5am,6am breakfast at hotel lobby,7am heading to a destination which located at Trang, anth state of thai...after 3 hour journey finally we reach Ley Cave, also written as Le Khao Kop Caver.

" It is one of the sights in Trang that now drawing more and more
visitors. The reason is, the cave is quite easy to enter, since there are
guided tours by boat. A subterranean stream flows through the cave.
Stalactites and stalagmites line the cave for about 4 kilometers. An exciting
aspect about Le Cave is the low ceiling. Often, the ceiling is so low that
everybody entering the cave needs to lie down flat in the boat in order to pass through. At the same time, it is thrilling to watch stalactites coming almost to one's face."

5person each boat and move towards the cave rowed by two boat man...need to bend down already though just enter the cave..stop twice in the cave to land us walk around and enjoy the nature of the cave...then the real adventure came...ordered to flatten our body by laying down straight with no curving at all since the top of the cave we going through next is just few cm above our face...OMG..this is d only word that can voice out from my mouth..this is a real unforgetable experience and it is nice...thanks god every one came out from the cave without scratch..advice for those with big tummy please loose some calories first before enter this cave so that wont get so scar on the tummy..hehe

Crystal island is the next destination after lunch...reach there by motor sampan...round the island while introduced some nature structure and statue by the tour guide..some busy looking around to see either there are luck to collect some crystal back which granted with small one..he..back to Hat Yai for dinner..as usuall the meal are full of variety of meat, pork, fish,chicken......help to increase my calories...fuh..after that free and easy where we fill it with shopping spree...not bad bought some clothes and shoes..back to hotel after supper with some kind of fried kuey teow..but their kuey teow is XL size one..he..

<19th>

6am breakfast, 8am: head to the market with tutuk car..squeeze 10 person per car..haha..150 baht each...had a shoping spree again there...bought bags, shoes, local stuff....nice one...around 11 head to hotel for checking out...lunch at Washington Restaurant...same meaty meal and tom yam..reach thai kastam around 2pm...packed like sardin..Queue more than half an hour to pass the kastam...malaysia kastam better..less pack and got aircond..reach tambun for seafood dinner..may be too pampered with great meal in thai..the seafood there seems to be abit disapointed..haha...

Overall, it is a fantastic trip and enjoyed it alot...if got chance can visit to this land of smile again...just that that few days the weather was so cold coz rainy day plus the strong aircond in bus>>end up attacked with flu and wearing jacket most of d time..kekexp....
